When do you start Fall Clean Ups? Southern NH

When is the best time to start fall cleanups in NH . I am referring to the one and done kind, where you wait until all the leaves fall and then you swoop in and clean them up.

I would be open to suggestions on other methodology people use for fall clean ups, maybe do it in cycles? Two visits?
