Grass/Weed control

I am wondering if there is such a thing that is meant for the lawn industry; "Pour or apply around a/c condensing units or other places that are hard to trim/weed eat". It would make the affected area look nice, not degrade......etc.......
I'm not talking 'super weed killer' that leaves bare ground, or wood chips with useless fabric under it.
Any ideas?
