Cover for leaf loader

As i sit here and watch the rain come pouring down outside my window I was pondering some sort of cover for the leaf loader as I dont have the luxury to pull it into the garage. I was thinking perhaps a grill cover would work and was curious if anyone else uses something different? Its currently covered by a tarp at the moment.

Second question, is anyone using a second section of hose on their loader? I was looking at adding another piece but wasn't sure if its worth it due to clogging and...
